Louis Armstrong and his Hot Seven was a jazz recording ensemble led by trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong.

The group recorded in Chicago in 1927 and forms part of the celebrated Hot Five and Hot Seven sequence.

These recordings are central documents in the development of jazz solo performance and small-group improvisation.
