Eugenia Zareska (1910-1979) was a Polish mezzo-soprano, active in opera, concert music and recording. She worked internationally and was admired for the colour and steadiness of her lower voice.

In the Pristine catalogue she appears in Mahler under Eduard van Beinum, alongside Ernst Haefliger, Margaret Ritchie and Nan Merriman.

Zareska’s singing belonged to the disciplined concert tradition, where vocal warmth must serve line, structure and text rather than theatrical display alone.
