Ferenc Vecsey (1893-1935) was a Hungarian violinist and composer, famous as a child prodigy and later as an international virtuoso. He studied with Jenő Hubay and Joseph Joachim.

Vecsey wrote and arranged short violin pieces, including works that entered the recital and encore repertory. His music appears in Pristine’s historic violin cataloguing alongside other performer-composers.
