La Scala Orchestra and Chorus
La Scala Orchestra and Chorus are the orchestral and choral forces of Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
La Scala opened in 1778 and is one of Italy’s principal opera houses.
Its orchestra and chorus have been closely associated with Italian opera, especially the repertory of Verdi, Puccini, Bellini and Donizetti.
