Ruggero Gerlin

Ruggero Gerlin was an Italian harpsichordist, closely associated with Wanda Landowska and with the twentieth-century revival of early keyboard music.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Domenico Scarlatti sonatas recorded in the late 1940s.

Gerlin’s playing belongs to the mid-century harpsichord revival, when musicians were reintroducing earlier keyboard repertory to modern audiences with renewed colour and clarity.
