Tancredi Pasero was an Italian bass, one of the great Italian bass voices of the first half of the twentieth century. He was especially admired in Verdi and the broader Italian repertory.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Lorenzo Molajoli’s 1928 recording of Verdi’s Aida.

Pasero’s singing brought depth, authority and noble Italian line to bass roles requiring both weight and grandeur.
