Isadore Freed (1900-1960) was an American composer, organist and teacher, represented in the Pristine catalogue through mid-century American piano repertory. Born in Russia and raised in the United States, he became active in the musical life of New York.

Freed wrote piano music, chamber works, songs, choral music and sacred pieces. He also worked as an educator, helping to sustain the network of composers and performers interested in modern American concert music.
