Winifred Heidt was an American mezzo-soprano represented in the Pristine catalogue through Stokowski’s 1941 NBC recording of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

The performance places her with Anne Brown, Lawrence Whisonant, William Horne, the NBC Symphony Orchestra and Westminster Choir.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this entry remains tied to the recording evidence and its Stokowski-Beethoven context.

This page gives a securely identified soloist a compact marker in the Stokowski Beethoven Ninth strand.
