Oley Speaks (1874-1948) was an American composer and songwriter, represented in the Pristine catalogue by the song Morning, recorded by Kirsten Flagstad in 1952.

Speaks wrote many songs for recital and domestic performance, including settings that circulated widely in the early twentieth-century American song repertory. His best-known song is On the Road to Mandalay.

His style is lyrical, direct and grateful to the voice, shaped by the expectations of singers and audiences rather than by modernist experiment. It belongs to the cultivated popular-art song borderland.
