Meredith Davies

Meredith Davies (1922-2005) was a British conductor, active in opera, choral music and twentieth-century repertory. He worked with major British institutions and became an important conductor in post-war musical life.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Britten’s War Requiem and in Delius’s A Village Romeo and Juliet, linking him to two substantial British operatic and choral traditions.
