Raymond Viola was an orchestral musician represented in the Pristine catalogue through Reiner rarities from 1936 to 1949.

The release places him among RCA Victor and Pittsburgh Symphony-linked forces in repertory by Richard Strauss, Wagner, Harl McDonald and others.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this note is kept close to the recording evidence and its orchestral context.

This page gives a securely identified catalogue artist a modest marker in the Fritz Reiner orchestral strand.
