Leo Heppe was a singer represented in the Pristine catalogue through Bloch’s Israel Symphony and Schelomo with Franz Litschauer and Willem van Otterloo.

The recording places him among Vienna State Opera and Hague musicians in a specialised mid-century Bloch programme.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this note is kept close to the recording evidence.

This page gives a securely identified catalogue artist a compact marker in the Bloch vocal-orchestral strand.
