Hermann Abendroth
Hermann Abendroth (1883-1956) was a German conductor, one of the major figures in central European orchestral life during the first half of the twentieth century.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Beethoven, Liszt, Sibelius, Reger and other repertory, conducting Berlin and Paris orchestral forces in recordings from 1935 to 1942.
