Grieg
Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist whose music became one of the defining sounds of Scandinavian Romanticism. Born in Bergen, he studied in Leipzig and later drew deeply on Norwegian folk melody, rhythm and landscape.
