Georg Schnéevoigt (1872-1947) was a Finnish conductor and cellist, closely associated with the music of Sibelius. He conducted widely in Scandinavia and elsewhere, and became an important interpreter of Finnish repertory.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears conducting Sibelius with the NBC Symphony Orchestra in 1939.

Schnéevoigt’s significance lies partly in proximity: he belonged to the generation that carried Sibelius’s music into broader international circulation while the composer’s world was still close at hand.
