Queen's Hall Orchestra
The Queen’s Hall Orchestra was a British orchestra founded in London in 1895.
It was closely associated with conductor Henry Wood and the early history of the Proms.
The orchestra was named for Queen’s Hall, a major London concert venue destroyed in 1941.
