Frederick Stock
Frederick Stock (1872-1942) was a German-born American conductor and composer, long associated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He succeeded Theodore Thomas and led the orchestra for decades.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in a substantial Chicago Symphony series, covering recordings from the acoustic and early electrical eras into the 1930s and 1940s.
