Claramae Turner
Claramae Turner (1920-2013) was an American contralto, active in opera, concert music and musical theatre. She sang at the Metropolitan Opera and also appeared in film, including the 1956 screen version of Carousel.
In the Pristine catalogue she appears in Metropolitan Opera broadcasts and Toscanini’s Verdi Un ballo in maschera.
