Mariano Stabile

Mariano Stabile was an Italian baritone, one of the great singing actors of early twentieth-century Italian opera. He was especially famous as Verdi’s Falstaff.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Rossini and Verdi, including Callas’s Il turco in Italia and Toscanini’s 1937 Salzburg Falstaff.
