Ferdinand Frantz
Ferdinand Frantz (1906-1959) was a German bass-baritone, one of the major Wagner singers of the mid-twentieth century. He was especially associated with Wotan and other heroic German roles.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears repeatedly in Furtwängler’s Wagner Ring recordings from La Scala and Rome.
