Alfvén

Hugo Alfvén (1872-1960) was a Swedish composer, conductor, violinist and painter, and one of the most vivid musical representatives of Swedish late Romanticism. Born in Stockholm, he trained as a violinist before establishing himself as a composer with a strong feeling for colour, landscape and national character.
