Richard Mayr
Richard Mayr was an Austrian bass, one of the notable Viennese singers of the early twentieth century. He was especially associated with Mozart, Strauss and German repertory.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Weingartner’s Beethoven Ninth and in Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier with Lotte Lehmann, Maria Olszewska and Elisabeth Schumann.
