Andrea Mongelli was an Italian singer represented in the Pristine catalogue through La Scala’s 1958 recording of Puccini’s La fanciulla del West with Birgit Nilsson.

The performance places him in a cast conducted by Lovro von Matačić, with Enzo Sordello, Nicola Zaccaria, Leonardo Monreale and other La Scala artists.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this entry is kept close to the recording evidence and its Italian opera context.

This page gives a securely identified supporting artist a compact marker in the Nilsson-Puccini strand.
