Rudolf Mengelberg (1892-1959) was a Dutch composer and music administrator, and a nephew of conductor Willem Mengelberg. He studied composition in the Netherlands and became part of the musical world around the Concertgebouw.

His Salve Regina, represented in the Pristine catalogue, was recorded by Willem Mengelberg with soprano Jo Vincent and the Concertgebouw Orchestra in 1940. It is one of the few studio recordings in which the conductor worked with a vocal soloist.
