Yves Nat
Yves Nat was a French pianist, one of the distinguished French keyboard artists of the twentieth century. He was especially admired in Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Brahms.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Schubert and Brahms recordings from 1953 and 1955.
Nat’s playing combined seriousness, weight and a deeply considered sense of structure, with a French clarity that never softened the music’s backbone.
