Henry Lytton
Sir Henry Lytton (1865-1936) was an English singer and actor, one of the defining figures of the D’Oyly Carte Gilbert and Sullivan tradition. He was especially celebrated in comic baritone roles.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance, preserving Savoy opera performance practice from the early recording era.
