Blind Willie McTell
Blind Willie McTell (1898-1959) was an American blues singer and guitarist, celebrated for his twelve-string guitar playing and lucid, lyrical vocal style. Born in Georgia, he recorded prolifically under several names.
His repertory included blues, ragtime, spirituals and topical songs, with recordings such as Statesboro Blues becoming landmarks. In the Pristine catalogue he appears through early blues reissues.
