John Corigliano
John Corigliano (1901-1975) was an American violinist, concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic and father of the composer John Corigliano. He was one of the orchestra’s important string leaders in the mid-twentieth century.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears as soloist in Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with Guido Cantelli and in Brahms’s Double Concerto with Leonard Rose and Bruno Walter.
