Bamberg Symphony Orchestra
The Bamberg Symphony Orchestra is a German symphony orchestra based in Bamberg, Bavaria.
It was founded in 1946, with many early players coming from German orchestral traditions displaced after the Second World War.
The orchestra is associated with the central European symphonic repertory and with extensive concert touring.
