Berl Senofsky

Berl Senofsky (1926-2002) was an American violinist, the first American to win the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. He later became a respected teacher as well as performer.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears at Tanglewood with Pierre Monteux in Beethoven, Debussy, Hindemith, Milhaud and Ravel repertory.

Senofsky’s playing was technically assured, musically serious and shaped by the mid-century American violin school. ...
