Julius Herrmann was a conductor represented in the Pristine catalogue through the Deutschmeister Band’s 1955 programme of galops, polkas and potpourris.

The release places him in Viennese light-music repertory by Komzák, Johann Strauss, Josef Strauss and Ziehrer.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this note is kept deliberately close to the recording evidence.

This page gives a securely identified conductor a compact marker in the Viennese band and light-music strand.
