Eberhard Wächter
Eberhard Wächter (1929-1992) was an Austrian baritone, admired especially in Mozart, Strauss and German-language opera. He sang at the Vienna State Opera and many other major houses.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier, with conductors including Giulini and Karajan.
