Wolf
Hugo Wolf (1860-1903) was an Austrian composer, best known for his songs. Born in what is now Slovenia, he became one of the great masters of German Lieder after Schubert and Schumann.
His song collections include the Mörike-Lieder, Goethe-Lieder, Spanisches Liederbuch and Italienisches Liederbuch. He also wrote orchestral, choral and chamber works, though song remains the centre of his reputation.<...
