Maurus Pfaff
Maurus Pfaff was a Benedictine monk and chant director associated with the Abbey of St. Martin, Beuron.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in the Beuron Abbey Monks’ Gregorian chant recordings, including the traditional Requiem Mass and Easter liturgy.
Pfaff’s significance here lies in chant practice: shaping plainsong as living liturgy rather than concert repertory dressed in robes.
