Tibor de Machula
Tibor de Machula (1912-1982) was a Hungarian-born cellist, long associated with the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. He was one of the notable orchestral and solo cellists of his generation.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears with Furtwängler in Schumann and Tchaikovsky, and in Bloch’s Schelomo with Willem van Otterloo.
