Gustav Neidlinger
Gustav Neidlinger (1910-1991) was a German bass-baritone, one of the great Wagner singers of the twentieth century. He became especially famous as Alberich, a role he made almost his own.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears repeatedly in Wagner’s Ring, including Furtwängler’s Rome cycle and Knappertsbusch’s Bayreuth recordings.
