Jolanda Gardino was an Italian singer represented in the Pristine catalogue through Callas’s 1954 La Scala recording of Rossini’s Il turco in Italia.

The performance places her in a cast with Maria Callas, Nicolai Gedda, Nicola Rossi-Lemeni, Mariano Stabile and Gianandrea Gavazzeni.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this note is kept close to the recording evidence and its Italian opera context.

This page gives a securely identified catalogue artist a compact marker in the Callas-Rossini strand.
