Dino Mantovani was an Italian singer represented in the Pristine catalogue through La Scala’s 1958 recording of Puccini’s La fanciulla del West with Birgit Nilsson.

The performance places him with Lovro von Matačić, Enzo Sordello, Nicola Zaccaria, Leonardo Monreale and other La Scala artists.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this note remains tied to the recording evidence and its Italian opera context.

This page gives a securely identified supporting artist a compact marker in the Nilsson-Puccini strand.
