Victor Godfrey was a singer represented in the Pristine catalogue through the world première recording of Tippett’s King Priam under John Pritchard.

The performance places him with Joseph Ward, Marie Collier, Richard Lewis, Josephine Veasey, Forbes Robinson and Covent Garden forces.

Because wider public biographical detail is limited, this entry remains tied to the recording evidence and its British modern-opera context.

This page gives a securely identified catalogue artist a compact marker in the Tippett King Priam strand.
