David Poleri was an American tenor, active in opera and concert repertory. He sang at major American and European houses and appeared in broadcasts and recordings.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Fritz Busch’s 1951 Edinburgh performance of Verdi’s La forza del destino.

Poleri’s singing brought the bright, forceful tenor presence needed in Verdi’s large dramatic structures, where line and pressure must remain in balance.

His page is justified by career standing and catalogue context. Poleri gives the Busch-Verdi shelf a strong tenor profile.
