Jon Vickers
Jon Vickers (1926-2015) was a Canadian tenor, one of the greatest dramatic tenors of the twentieth century. He was admired in Wagner, Verdi, Britten, Handel and French repertory.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears in Handel’s Messiah, Cherubini’s Medea and Wagner’s Die Walküre, with artists including Maria Callas, Birgit Nilsson and Thomas Beecham.
