Patrice Munsel was an American soprano, one of the youngest singers ever to appear at the Metropolitan Opera and a popular presence on stage, radio and television.

In the Pristine catalogue she appears in Reiner’s Die Fledermaus highlights with Jan Peerce, James Melton, Robert Merrill, Regina Resnik and Risë Stevens.

Munsel’s singing brought brightness, agility and theatrical charm to repertory that depends on elegance and sparkle without vocal fussiness.

Her page is justified by career standing and catalogue context. Munsel gives the operetta shelf a flash of American coloratura glamour.
