HAUSEGGER Bruckner Symphony No. 9

In 1938, Siegmund von Hausegger and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra recorded a definitive - and world première - studio recording of Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 for HMV/Electrola, some six years after establishing that Bruckner's original score was, by consent, the edition people wanted to hear.

This week we bring Pristine's Ambient Stereo XR remastering processes to bear on this monumental recording, which completely revitalises it some 85 years after it was made. I really is something very special!

WALTER PROMOTION To celebrate the 147th birthday of conductor Bruno Walter this week we're offering a 10% discount on all his recordings. Offer runs until 22 September.
