This rare and unusual recording came to me via an open reel tape transfer, which I understand to be that of a long-forgotten 1970's LP issue. The sound was particularly murky and scratchy, and I was unsure what I might be able to do with it. I am pleased to report that my initial fears were unfounded, and beneath the murk lay a glorious recording, albeit in an exceptionally dry acoustic - something which the careful addition of a very small amount of carefully-calibrated mono digital reverberation has gone some way towards alleviating.
