Artwork and Booklet Notes: How to Download and Print Them
Artwork and booklet notes: how to find, download and print them
Looking for the notes to a Pristine recording? Start with its downloadable artwork PDF. This is where the printable cover artwork and accompanying notes are supplied. You can get the PDF directly from an album's page, or retrieve the artwork separately from a recording already in your account.
You do not need to download the music again just to get the artwork.
No purchase needed: use the album page
Find the recording, open its Cover Art tab and choose Download Artwork.
Already bought it? Use My Downloads
Sign in, find the recording and choose its separate Artwork download option.
1. Get artwork and notes from any album page
- Find the recording on PristineClassical.com. Searching for its catalogue number (for example, PACO078) is often quickest.
- Scroll down below the album details to the row of information tabs.
- Open Cover Art (on some pages this may be called PDF Downloads).
- Click Download Artwork to open or save the printable PDF.
- Open the PDF to read the accompanying notes and view the front cover, back cover, tray inserts or other printed material supplied for that release.
The PDF artwork is accessible on the release page without having to purchase the album or sign in. The exact contents vary by release; some include more booklet material than others. Reviews or short notes displayed in other tabs on the web page are not necessarily the same as the printable PDF.
2. Get artwork from a recording you've bought
If you have purchased a download or a CD, you can also retrieve the artwork through your account. CD purchases include a complimentary MP3 download, so CD buyers can use the same downloads area.
- Choose My Account and sign in using the email address associated with your purchase.
- For a recent order, open Orders and choose Download this order. On a phone, you may need the three-dot More actions menu beside the order.
- Alternatively, open My Downloads to view your complete My Music library. Select the recording and open its Downloads tab.
- Choose the Artwork download for the recording. Where necessary, open More download options to see separate artwork and other available extras.
- Save the artwork PDF. You can download the artwork on its own, without downloading the audio files again.
This is also useful if you purchased a download long ago and now need another copy of its printable cover. If you cannot find the album in Orders, check My Downloads: older purchases and subscription additions may appear there.

3. Printing CD jewel-case artwork at the correct size
IMPORTANT: Pristine PDF artwork is already sized for standard CD jewel cases. Print at ACTUAL SIZE (100%). Do not resize, scale, stretch or use “Fit to page”.
If your printer changes the size, the artwork may no longer fit the jewel case, even if the difference looks tiny on screen.
- Download the PDF and open it in a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Choose File → Print and the correct printer and paper (normally A4 in Europe).
- Under Page Sizing & Handling, choose Actual size, or set Scale: 100%.
- Make sure Fit, Fit to page, Shrink oversized pages and other automatic scaling options are off.
- Print a test sheet, then cut out the pieces along their intended edges and fold any spine areas before inserting them into a standard jewel case.
Do not paste the artwork into a word processor or image editor and resize it to fill the sheet. Print the supplied PDF directly. The front cover, rear tray card and other pieces have different shapes, and the PDF keeps their dimensions intact.
If the edges are cut off by your printer, check its paper and margin settings or use a printer with a larger printable area. Reducing the PDF to make it fit the page will also reduce the jewel-case artwork.
Common questions
I can see the review on the product page, but where are the notes?
Look for Cover Art → Download Artwork. This opens a separate PDF. The review in another tab is not the artwork download.
I bought the CD-only edition. Can I still print the cover?
Yes. Use the artwork PDF on the release page, or access the recording through My Downloads. The CD-only edition is intended to let you print the supplied jewel-case artwork yourself.
Do I have to download a large ZIP file again to get the artwork?
No. Select the separate Artwork option in your downloads area. The original combined download is still an option, but it is not necessary when you only want the artwork.
The artwork isn't where I expected. Who can help?
Email downloadsupport@pristineclassical.com with the recording title or catalogue number, and your order number if you have one. Tell us whether you are using the album page or My Downloads, and what you can see on screen.
