NBC Symphony Orchestra
The NBC Symphony Orchestra was an American radio orchestra created in 1937 for the National Broadcasting Company.
It was formed especially for Arturo Toscanini, who became its most famous conductor.
The orchestra was central to American broadcast music and to mid-twentieth-century orchestral recording.
