The Chorus and Orchestra of La Scala Milan are the choral and orchestral forces of Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
La Scala is one of the principal opera houses of Italy, opened in 1778.
Its chorus and orchestra have been central to the performance of Italian opera, especially Verdi, Puccini and the wider nineteenth- and twentieth-century repertory.
