Ludwig Weber
Ludwig Weber (1899-1974) was an Austrian bass, one of the great Wagner and German repertory singers of the mid-twentieth century. He was especially admired at Vienna and Bayreuth.
In the Pristine catalogue he appears extensively in Wagner and Mozart, including Furtwängler’s Ring recordings, Karajan’s Tristan, Keilberth’s Holländer and Fricsay’s Die Zauberflöte.
