Fernando Valenti was an American harpsichordist and pianist, one of the important keyboard artists in the twentieth-century revival of harpsichord repertory.

In the Pristine catalogue he appears extensively in Scarlatti and Bach, including the Scarlatti sonatas and Bach’s English Suites.

Valenti’s playing combined clarity, rhythmic vitality and an unbuttoned musical intelligence, making early keyboard music feel alive rather than museum-polished.

His page is essential for the harpsichord strand. Valenti gives the Scarlatti and Bach shelves sparkle, bite and a quicksilver keyboard wit.
