This final release of recordings made in the 1940s and 1950s by Fabien Sevitzky and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra brings to a conclusion a highly-lauded series we began back in the summer of 2016!
The focus of Volume 6 is on music for dancing, with ballet suites by Delibes and Khachaturian as well as waltzes by Johann Strauss (who else?!) and Weber - and more. It's a superb way to round off an exemplary and comprehensive collection of recordings, lovingly transferred and restored by Mark Obert-Thorn.
